Jamie Sale and Craig Simpson are the Battle of The Blades Champions!

Monday night the results were in! Canada voted for Jamie Sale and Craig Simpson as the Battle of the Blades Champions. Congratulations to Jamie and Craig and THANK YOU to everyone who voted. Jamie and Craig skated beautifully through all rounds of the competition.

The real winner here though is the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Centre Society (SCITCS) The champions of The Battle of the Blades were awarded $100,000 to go to the charity of their choice. Jamie and Craig selected the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Center Society in Edmonton, Alberta as their charity!

Louise Miller, President of SCITCS has said that the winnings will go towards a special Spinal Cord Injury Chair at the University of Alberta.

Established in 1987, the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Center provides opportunities to people with a spinal cord injury through four main facilities:

The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital
The SCITCS Exercise Clinic
The SCITCS Research Laboratory
The Rehabilitation Neuroscience Group Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry

Canadians to decide who of the remaining three pairs will win $100,000 for their charity of their choice!

$100,000 is at stake in the Battle of the Blades on CBC Television.

The entire $100,000 winnings from the Battle of the Blades could go towards a Spinal Cord Injury Research Chair at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentisty (University of Alberta). These funds are vital! You can help make it happen!

Jamie Sale and Craig Simpson are competing in the Battle of the Blades on CBC Television on Sunday Nov 15th. If they win the grand prize of $100,000 they are donating that money to the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Centre Society. If they lose by not getting enough votes they go home with only $25,000 which will also be donated to the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Center Society.

SCITCS is a Canadian charity based in Edmonton, Alberta that helps those with a Spinal Cord Injury.
